Arleta works on both oil panel and on gallery wrapped canvas. She uses many layers and glazes to achieve her special and unique brand of luminosity. She will be teaching these oil techniques for the first time in her workshop September 29th to October 3rd in Charleston, South Carolina hosted by the Mary Martin Gallery. Arleta has enjoyed an illustrious career in both watercolors and oil painting including many images being published as giclees on canvas, lithographs, needlework kits, and even posters. She will be speaking to artists on October 4th of 2009 at 11:00am at the Mary Martin Gallery about marketing artist's work. The cost is $50 per person. Artists who are taking her workshop will be able to attend at no charge.
