Along The Turquoise Trail some miles from Santa Fe, Santiago lives at his idyllic secluded home and studio set among hills and valleys of New Mexico. I discovered Santiago's work in Santa Fe some years ago and fell captive to his magical creatures and people. His work makes me smile because the people and creatures represent those characteristics in humans that make us who we are. As I look at the Yo-Yo Man or the Tight Rope Man, I know how they feel. He has created whole villages of people and creatures such as the Murgatroyds who all have amazing characteristics. Prepare to be delighted at the gallery while viewing his work.
